The Occupational Safety Card was developed to improve safety at shared workplaces.
Objectives of the Occupational Safety Card Practice:
- Improve practical cooperation at shared workplaces between client and supplier companies.
- Support on-the-job training at shared workplaces.
- Provide basic knowledge of occupational safety.
- Reduce overlapping training provided by different clients.
- Generate interest and motivation for improving occupational safety skills among employees.
- Aim to reduce workplace accidents, hazardous situations, and harmful stress.
Obtaining the Occupational Safety Card requires successful completion of the Occupational Safety Card course. The card is valid for five years.
Adopting the Occupational Safety Card is voluntary, but many client companies require their subcontractors’ employees to hold the card.
Occupational Safety Card training can be conducted online or in-person. The Occupational Safety Center has approved online training as of March 17, 2020. Request a quote!
